Test and inspection steps:
(1) when the pipeline is filled with medium, use A multimeter to measure the resistance value between terminal A, B and C. The resistance value between a-c and b-c should be up to the same.If the difference is more than 1 times, it may be due to electrode leakage, condensation adsorption in the outer wall of the measuring tube or junction box.
(2) under the condition of dry lining, use A - M Ω table test insulation resistance between C and B - C (should be greater than 200 M Ω).Then use the multimeter to measure the resistance between terminals A and B and the two electrodes in the measuring tube (which should be connected by short circuit).If the insulation resistance is very small, indicating electrode leakage, the whole flowmeter should be returned to the factory for maintenance.If insulation fell but still has more than 50 m Ω and steps of (1) test results is normal, may be measuring the outer wall of pipe be affected with damp be affected with damp, available hot air blower to dry inside the shell.
(3) the multimeter measure the resistance between one of the X, Y, if more than 200 Ω, the excitation coil and the lead wire may be open or poor contact.Remove terminal board for inspection.
(4) check the insulation resistance between the X, Y, and C should be in more than 200 m Ω, if fell, shell internally with hot air drying processing.In actual operation, the decrease of the insulation of the coil will lead to the increase of the measurement error and the instability of the output signal of the instrument.
(5) if there is a fault in the sensor, please contact the manufacturer of electromagnetic flowmeter. Generally, it cannot be solved on site, so it needs to be repaired by the manufacturer.
