CX-FS-HF Flow Switch
GENERAL
The HF series of flow controller is ideal for locally indicating the flow of homogenous clean liquids. Adjustable switches generate alarms once switching points are reached.
The units are robust. Several variants are available to suit a wide variety of applications.
FEATURES
The HF inline flow controller is suitable for horizontal or vertical pipes. It has flanged connections, sizes anging from DN15...DN65 or from ½...2½". The measuring tube and connection is made of 304 (or 316L) stainless steel.

Measuring Principle
A hinged measuring disc moves freely in the axis of a tapered tube (DW 181, DW 182 only). At flowing conditions, the system adjusts so that the force acting on the disc is in equilibrium with the spring force. Each flow rate thus corresponds to a particular position of the indicator and simultaneously actuates the limit
switches.

This is used for large nominal pipe diameters (HF3, HF4 only). It is similar to system E but does not require a nozzle.
